House of Hope (HOH) is in search of a reliable person who is interested in assisting women in recovery at House of Hope. This part-time (afternoons 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) Client Services Specialist works with women new in recovery. They get to know strong, resilient mothers as they improve their lives for themselves and their children. The purpose of this role is to help meet client needs as they work towards their goals. This person will also be responsible for running the Client Services office. This is a great opportunity for those seeking experience working with women and families as well as those interested in the human services sector of the non-profit community.

Primary Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:
- Work directly with our recovery clients
- Provide transport for clients using company vehicles
- Assist clients to make business phone calls and coordinate appointments
- Answer incoming calls and interact with community partners
- Keep records, filing electronic and hard copies in a timely manner
- Assist clients to log on to virtual appointments
- Assist with conducting client drug screenings
- Complete special projects for the program
Qualifications, Experience & Skillset

- Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
- Able to climb stairs and lift 40-50 pounds, on occasion
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Apple iPad is a plus
- Quick and accurate typing skills with attention to spelling and grammar
Agency Requirements for All Employees
- Non-smoking worksite: no tobacco products allowed.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must pass extensive post-offer, pre-employment background check and drug test.
- If in recovery, must have at least 2+ years of continuous sobriety.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and climb stairs.
- Must have own reliable transportation, driver’s license, clean driving record, and willing to transport clients in own car and agency vehicles.
- Must be able to adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality.
- Must have a compassionate and empathetic approach to working with individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges.
Education Required
- High school diploma or GED equivalency.
Hours & Schedule
- Part-time; approximately 28 hours/week: Monday-Friday afternoons (12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.). Additional hours may be available to help cover time-off requests.
Wages & Benefits
- $16 to $17 per hour
