Part-time, Salt Lake City

Have you been considering going into social work, women’s services, or other non-profit service organization? We are looking for part-time (up to 28 hours per week) and full-time (between 30 and 38 hours per week) Recovery Assistants for all shifts at our SALT LAKE CITY campuses. The Recovery Assistant position is perfect options for a 2nd job, for those at school, and for those looking for anywhere from a little extra money to a fulltime job! These positions can be very flexible in scheduling to fit your lifestyle. While we do not split shifts, you can virtually pick your own weekly schedule with a combination of any of the following shifts:
- Day Shift: Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Swing Shift: Fridays and Saturdays 3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- Overnight Shift: Tuesday through Sunday 10:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. (+$1.00/hour wage differential for swing shifts)
You will learn firsthand about women’s treatment, helping people grow in a therapeutic community, reunifying mothers and children, and most importantly—about your own strengths and challenges.

Qualifications

Do these qualifications match your experience, education, and/or skillset?
- Be willing to drive own vehicle (with mileage reimbursement) or agency vans, have a current Utah driver’s license and a good driving record
- Understand professional ethics and boundaries in field of Human Services
- Be able to attend a mandatory staff meeting and training the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month from 2-4 pm (sorry, no exceptions)
- Have basic computer skills and writing ability
- Have good communication and phone skills
- Have above-average problem-solving skills, conflict-resolution abilities, and above all, a sense of humor!
Agency Requirements for All Employees
- This is a non-smoking work site (no tobacco products allowed onsite).
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be able to pass extensive background check and drug test.
- If in recovery, must have at least 2 years of continuous sobriety.
- Must be vaccinated against the flu each year during the beginning of flu season (September-November).
- Clean driving record for last 4 years required as well as a valid driver’s license and personal, reliable transportation.

- High school diploma or GED equivalency
Hours & Schedule
Part-time (up to 28 hours per week) positions are available to meet your flexible schedule needs. The following shifts are set (no partial shifts are available), but any combination of these shifts to equal as many hours as you need (up to 28 hours/week for part-time employees) are available:
- Weekend Day Shift: Saturday and Sunday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Weekend Evening Shift: Saturday and Sunday 3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- Weekday Evening Shift: Monday to Friday 3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- Overnight Shift: All days 10:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. (+$1/hour wage differential for Swing Shifts)
Wages & Benefits
- $15/hour (all day and evening shifts)
