CliftonLarsenAllen LLP Brings Spring to House of Hope
May 31st, 2019
CliftonLarsenAllen LLP (CLA) employees volunteered their time to create a wonderful outdoor space at one of our four residential facilities. The beautiful flowers and greenery they planted will create a relaxing space for our women to enjoy throughout the summer and for years to come!
CLA is the eighth largest accounting firm in the U.S. and creates opportunities for their clients and communities by dedicating themselves to building an inclusive and diverse culture. CLA volunteer Steve Scoggan said CLA appreciated the opportunity to help House of Hope as CLA is increasing their involvement in community work to create opportunities for not just CLA’s clients, but also for their employees. This is the Salt Lake City branch’s second time providing volunteer services to House of Hope. In April, they brought all our women a homemade sack lunch.
When asked why he liked volunteering with House of Hope, Jeremy McAdams remarked that “Keeping families together, reuniting kids with mothers is an important service that House of Hope brings. Giving back to help the women here enjoy the time they’re here and to create a place where they can relax in the evenings alongside my coworkers is fun.”
A special thank you to CLA volunteers for helping House of Hope create a beautiful garden and to Steve Scoggan and Jeremy McAdams for allowing us to feature their valuable perspectives on becoming House of Hope volunteers. We are excited to welcome CLA back for future volunteer endeavors!
